#2- A new food

Wether it's something you always hear of and just never tried or if it's something that you never thought would be put on a dinner plate, trying a new food is always an adventure on it's own. For example, today I tried cheese polenta. I don't know where it was actually made first, but every bite reminded me of when I was very young and ate swiss cheese in Switzerland with my great grandfather. It's almost inspired me to take a trip back to the little villiage to study cooking in the family hotel. Of course, after experiencing something new, it's always nice to have an old favorite, like chocolate cake! :)
